Operators in the food sector must respond to the requests of consumers with products that have characteristics increasingly oriented towards naturalness, freshness and food safety, without neglecting availability, assortment, convenience and practicality.
SOL offers its customers made-to-measure solutions, working alongside them in production activities, aimed to improve the quality standards of their products. Foods can be frozen with liquid nitrogen or carbon dioxide, packaged in atmosphere modified and controlled with nitrogen and other gases: in this way their aspect and taste are preserved. Cuttings and plants are treated in greenhouses with atmosphere rich in carbon dioxide to accelerate and improve their growth. Fish is intensively farmed thanks to the use of oxygen. Spices and coffee can be ground at very low temperatures with liquid nitrogen to preserve their aroma and quality. The gases offered by SOL, and also apparatus and plants for gas distribution, are certified for use with food in accordance with European regulations.
